Terms of Service
Last updated: June 8, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Linkd digital business card platform, including our website, portal, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, checking the acceptance box at registration, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Public usernames and URLs must not infringe third-party rights, mislead visitors, or violate these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that are inactive, fraudulent, or in violation of these Terms.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you upload to the Service, including card text, images, links, and other materials (“Your Content”). You grant Linkd a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, display, and deliver Your Content solely as needed to operate and improve the Service.
You represent that you have all rights necessary to publish Your Content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights. Public cards are visible to anyone with the link — publish only information you intend to share publicly.
Bookings and guest information
If you enable booking on a card, you are responsible for informing guests what information you collect and how you use it. Linkd processes guest details (such as name, email, and phone) on your behalf to provide scheduling, confirmations, and optional calendar integrations. You agree to use guest information lawfully and only for legitimate scheduling and communication purposes.
Plans, billing, and payments
Paid plans renew automatically at the interval you select unless you cancel before the renewal date. Fees are charged through our payment processor (Stripe) and are generally non-refundable except where required by law.
We may change plan features or pricing with reasonable notice. Downgrades may reduce seats, templates, analytics retention, or other limits effective at the next billing period. You are responsible for applicable taxes unless we state otherwise.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Send spam, phishing, or unsolicited messages
- Distribute malware or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service
- Harass, defame, impersonate others, or publish unlawful content
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or overload the Service except as permitted by law
- Resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission
We may investigate violations and remove content or suspend accounts at our discretion.
Third-party services
The Service may integrate with third-party providers (for example, Stripe for payments, Microsoft 365 for calendar or mail, and email delivery providers). Your use of those services may be subject to their terms and policies. Linkd is not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
Intellectual property
Linkd and its licensors own the Service, including software, branding, and design, excluding Your Content. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service except as allowed by these Terms or applicable law.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time through the portal or by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create risk for other users, or where required by law.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including payment obligations, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LINKD DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LINKD AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO LINKD IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Linkd from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction apply. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated by email or in-product notice where appropriate. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
