This Privacy Policy describes how Linkd (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our digital business card platform (“Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this policy and our Terms of Service.
See also our Terms of Service.

How we use information
- Provide, secure, and improve the Service.
- Process subscriptions and send transactional email (verification, billing, bookings, team invites).
- Show analytics to account owners within retention limits.
- Measure marketing site traffic when you consent to analytics cookies.
- Respond to support and privacy requests and comply with law.
Booking guests: controller and processor roles
When a visitor books a meeting on a card, the card owner (our customer) decides what guest information to collect and how to use it for scheduling. Linkd processes guest name, email, phone, and meeting details on the customer’s behalf to operate booking, confirmations, and optional calendar sync.
Guests should contact the card owner for questions about how their meeting data is used. Guests may also contact Linkd using the privacy request options below for platform-level requests (for example, deletion from our booking database where we act as processor).
Retention
| Data type | Retention |
|---|---|
| Account and billing records | While your account is active; some records retained as required for tax, fraud prevention, or legal obligations after closure |
| Card content | Until you delete or unpublish the card |
| Card view / click analytics | Free: 2 months; Individual: 6 months; Enterprise: 12 months (older events deleted automatically) |
| Booking records | While the hosting account is active and as needed for scheduling history; guests may request deletion via privacy request |
| Server and security logs | Typically 30–90 days (operations dependent) |
| Marketing analytics (GA4) | Per Google’s retention settings; only collected with consent or when not blocked by GPC |

Cookies
We use essential cookies for sign-in and consent, and optional analytics cookies on marketing pages with your permission. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
If your browser or extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of non-essential analytics cookies on our marketing site. We do not load Google Analytics when GPC is present. A short confirmation may appear when your preference is honored.
Your privacy choices
Manage cookies, learn about sale/share opt-out, and submit rights requests on Your privacy choices.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell personal information and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Because we do not engage in those activities, there is nothing for us to “sell” or “share” under California law. You may still use our cookie controls or GPC to limit optional analytics.
California residents (CPRA / CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
- Request deletion or correction of personal information
- Opt out of sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising
- Limit use of sensitive personal information (we do not use sensitive categories beyond what you voluntarily provide on cards or bookings)
- Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights
Submit a request via our privacy request form or email [email protected] with the subject line “Privacy request”. We verify identity before fulfilling requests and respond within 45 days where required by law.
Authorized agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require proof of authorization and direct verification from the consumer.
International visitors
Linkd is operated from the United States and intended primarily for U.S. users at launch. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States, where laws may differ from those in your country.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
We use HTTPS, encrypted storage for integration credentials, and role-based access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
